Thanks for dropping by the website! I’m writing this up to give anyone reading this a little bit of information on the Adder Alpha system.

Here are some of the commonly heard questions people have been asking us.

Q: What is Adder? What am I doing here?

A: Skipping the existential dread that such a question can bring, Adder is a web based platform that connects businesses who need to advertise with drivers who could use some extra cash in the bank each month. Adder is also developing new ad deployment and verification strategies.

Q: When I see the sign up page, its a bunch of legalese. What is this?

A: Essentially, what you’re reading is an End User Licence Agreement (EULA). We wanted the entire thing to be visible on one page so you could actually read it if you were interested in our terms. In contrast, the Apple EULA many of you agreed to is 406 pages long.

Q: If I sign up, am I obligated to do anything?

A: Absolutely not. Signing up with Adder allows us to ensure you meet our qualifications. If you’ve been accepted into our system, you’ll receive a confirmation email after processing.

Q: What happens after I’m accepted into the system?
A: You’ll be added to our available drivers list. We’ll send emails out to matching available drivers when new campaigns come online in their region.

Q: How can I apply to be a driver?

A: Simply fill out the form above completely, upload a photo of your vehicle, and click submit!

Q: What do I need to qualify as a driver?

A: All you need to begin driving is a driver’s license, car, and a smart phone. You’ll also need to drive a minimum of 400 miles per month (the national average is 625 miles/month). It’s as simple as that!

Q: How do I get the most out of being a driver for Adder?

A: Drive, drive, and drive! Instead of taking that shortcut to work, head through downtown! Miles driven inside the client’s “geofence” are counted and paid to drivers on a monthly basis. With our Adder 2.0 system, you’ll be able to track your progress stats in real time to see payouts, daily miles, and more!

Q: What kinds of cars are accepted?

A: Commonly, vehicle makes after 2008* are accepted. Each driver’s vehicle(s) must be photographed and emailed to support@addermobile.com for review.

*If your vehicle was made before 2008, it may be eligible pending a review process. Please, feel free to submit your application for further review. We occasionally run specialized campaigns with classic vehicles, and low cost campaigns with older cars as well.

Q:How old do you have to be to drive for Adder?

A: 18 years of age.

Q: What will I be paid?

A: Payments per mile are variable on each campaign, however, you will have an opportunity to review the payouts for any campaign you’re offered before accepting the campaign.

Q: Is there a limit to what I can earn?

A: Yes, each ad campaign has a budget set by the client. These budgets are mileage based, and can range from $75 to $450+ per month.

Q:Is there a monthly mileage cap on Adder?

A: Yes, the mileage limit will be directly related to the advertiser’s budget. You’ll be informed of the maximum mileage for each campaign when they become available in your region.

Q: How and when will I be paid?

A: Via PayPal instant transfer or mailed check upon completion of a campaign and mileage verification.

Q:What are you doing with the pictures/why all the car pictures?

A: We need the photos to verify your vehicle’s condition, and to provide a verification process to ensure that the ad is on your vehicle before logging your miles.

Q: How long does a campaign last?

A: Typically, campaigns can last from 3 to 12 months, although campaign length may vary based on the size of the campaign budget set by the client. The minimum campaign length is 30 days.

Q:I just signed up to be a driver.  How long will it take to get my ad?

A: After signup, we’ll check your information and vehicle photos. You’ll receive an acceptance or rejection email within 48 hours. Upon acceptance, you will be sent ad offers as they become available in your region, and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

Q: How will I get the ad?  How will I send it back to you?

A: Once an ad completes our final review process, it will be shipped and arrive at your doors.  Please keep the box!  When the campaign is complete, our staff will mail you a return shipping label. Simply place the ad in the original packaging and ship it back to us!

Q:What kind of business/services/eateries will I be advertising for?

A: It depends on the client and the campaign. You’ll have a chance to review the ad graphic

Q: Is there a limit on the number of ads I can take on at once?

A:Yes, Adder Beta drivers are limited to one ad campaign per car.

Q: Can I tell my friends/family about this system?

A: Absolutely! The more the merrier!

Q: Future version features/do you take requests?

A: Absolutely. We have a number of planned features, but we are always open to suggestions for new features and improvements to the platform. Q: I have multiple cars I use.  Can I still drive for Adder?

A: Yes, you can. Each vehicle will need to be reviewed by Adder staff before approval, but this is not a difficult process. Simply attach photos of both vehicles
